Description
EAV-SL12240 240V Power Transformer Assembly For Technics SL1200 Family from MK2 to MK6. Replaces Panasonic SFDZ122S01E2 SLT66DTL3A SLT66DT15C
The most elegant and non-intrusive method to replace the power transformer in your Technics SL1200MK2 – MK6. No holes need to be drilled. The existing three rubber mounts are squeezed into the EAV-SL12240 240V Power Transformer Assembly mounting holes and the rear mu-metal shield and three screws are used to secure into place. Solder the red and yellow wires to where the old transformer was connected and enjoy.
WARNING! It is recommended to get a qualified technician to install and connect this part. Safety is your responsibility.
It should be noted that the 1989 released Technics SL1200MK3 and the later Technics SL1200MK3D made exclusively for the Japanese market were produced with no primary mains fuse. They are also 100VAC units. If you are considering using the EAV-SL12240 240V Power Transformer Assembly to convert these models to 240VAC you MUST add a fuse and install a 240VAC rated power lead and snubber components. Contact EAV for further information regarding this or add a comment requesting the extra safety parts at check-out.
EAV will install the EAV-SL12240 Power Transformer Assembly free of charge with every Club Pack or Love Pack service
For our US friends we have a 120VAC version available. Make a comment at checkout requesting EAV-SL12120

DJ DAEMON –
Big up my friend. I thought this would be too hard for me but I was up and running in 10 minutes. Why did I use these stupid step downs for so long?

Replaced the transformers on two 1200 MK3Ds from Japan. Works flawlessly! Highly recommend getting EAV to do it for you as it’s not that much extra!
