REPAIR CLASSIFICATIONS
Due to the many and varied fault modes of electronic equipment and componentry any kind of quoting to repair a professional audio device is a near impossible task unless it is a common known failure or blatantly obvious.
With this in mind EAV has an Inspection Fee ($132.00 inc GST) that is paid at the time of booking in the unit.
(Please note your receipt for the Inspection Fee is also your copy of the legally required Repair Notice in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010 and assumes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions)
Often this Inspection Fee is enough time to repair a simple fault and as it includes low value parts and consumables (deoxidisers, lubricants, capacitors, resistors and fuses etc to a value of $15.00) it maybe all you need to pay.
