CAIG CAILUBE X-10S PRECISION INSTRUMENT OIL. Non-gumming, rust-inhibiting, long-lasting lubrication. Temperature range -60 C to +232 C.

Technics specified Anderol 465 synthetic oil for their Technics range of turntables but this is very hard to find now.

It’s properties are closely matched by CAIG’S X-10S Silicone based oil and it is what EAV recommends for lubricating the main bearing. Beware using a mineral based oil as it will increase the gunk formed by the reaction with the metal. We see a lot of turntables with thick black gunk formed around the main shaft which must be removed before relubing.

We are also using this on the rollers in Pioneer DJ jogwheels and the noise reduction is amazing.. try it
